Melody. Power. Beauty. Ferocity. This is Black Orchid Empire.

BOE’s powerful music resonates with fans of QOTSA, Deftones and Royal Blood.

Driven, determined and exceptionally talented, this ferocious trio infuse complex melodies and mammoth riffs to create instantly memorable – yet beautifully vulnerable songs.

Following performances alongside heavyweights Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie and Editors, as well as winning Emergenza UK, the bands high-impact show has seen them steadily grow in acclaim.

Thriving in the resurgent British rock scene, Black Orchid Empire are perfectly poised to be one of the breakthrough acts of the year.

Divine Chaos

"Dark and muscular prog heaviness from one of the UK's most idiosyncratic rock bands" [Metal Hammer]

Godsticks are a four-piece progressive heavy rock band from South Wales, formed in 2008. Having toured extensively throughout Europe with acts such as The Aristocrats, Mike Keneally and The Pineapple Thief, most recently they can be found showcasing their newer, heavier material supporting bands such as Textures and Dorje.

Their most recent album, Emergence, was produced by James Loughrey (known for his work with acts such as Skindred, Manic Street Preachers and Def Leppard). It received great reviews and signified a milestone in the progression of the band from complex eclectic prog-rock to a more focused, heavier progressive metal style filled with addictive grooves and memorable choruses. Total Guitar Magazine said “Emergence is a rare thing – an album of technically astounding prog-metal replete with hooks and melodies".

Typically for this band, who are difficult to pin down to a specific genre, Emergence has been likened to a variety of different bands at the heavier end of the progressive spectrum, including Mastodon, Rush, and Alice in Chains.

Godsticks are currently writing their fourth album, which promises to be full of thundering riffs, intricate solos, and – as often is the case - a few surprises too.

Godsticks are: Darran Charles (vocals, guitar, keys), Dan Nelson (bass), Gavin Bushell (guitar) and Tom Price (drums)

Hi, I'm Jahan from Scottish progressive metal band Tiberius. We just won an award for best Scottish metal act of 2017. Last year we supported Twelve Foot Ninja, The Contortionist, Galactic Empire and played Techablitation fest in London supporting Thank You Scientist.

We're in the process of booking our first tour and are looking to get a date in Birmingham around 12th-14th of April. We have a good group of friends and fans in Birmingham and shouldn't struggle to pull a decent crowd. We'll also be hitting the targeted social media hard on the run up to the tour which is in support of a new single (with music video) we'll be releasing late February.

our EPK is - www.wearetiberius.com Bandcamp: www.tiberiusuk.bandcamp.com Facebook - www.facebook.com/tiberiusuk

Let me know what you think, it would be great to work with you.

Cheers!

JahanHi Ryan, hope you're well and had a good new year! I was given your details by Jack Sandilands of Perpetua if I was ever looking for gigs in Birmingham.

We are a 4-piece instrumental progressive metal band from the North-East of England. We will be releasing our debut album in July and embarking on a UK tour following its release. We would love to play a night in your area between the 9th and 23rd of July if possible. "Progressive metal quartet Altostratus is bringing even more instrumental goodness to what is currently a thriving genre. The UK based band came onto the scene in 2015, impressing many with their heavy riff-based compositions and headbanging grooves. Their music shows shades of Cloudkicker, Pomegranate Tiger and even a touch of Widek, relishing in the tone and thalls of what makes this type of music so pertinent and palatable. Moreover, they manage to bring a sense of uniqueness to their sound with varied soundscapes and infectious rhythms.
