UK Tech-Fest 2019 Jul 28, 2019

UK Tech-Fest has been one of our highlights for the year so far. We were lucky enough to play their all-day event in January, with bands such as Ingested, Valis Ablaze, Voices from the Fuselage and many more - it was an honour to also be asked to play the main festival!

Our slot was Sunday 7th July at 1:00pm on the Fireball stage, however we decided to enjoy the whole weekend as a band! The line ups at Tech-Fest are always incredible with some of the best prog/tech metal bands from all over the world. One huge highlight for us was seeing Polaris on the Thursday night. Lizzie and Mike had managed to catch them supporting Architects earlier in the year, but at Tech-Fest we were treated to a much longer set. Their energy was awe-inspiring and they're definitely a must-see band. Lizzie and Hendo had a chat with singer Jamie at the merch stand, what a lovely bloke!

Friday 5th July brought us some new discoveries, including Siamese who we had never seen before. They were really fun to watch and brought a more pop sounding vibe to the festival! It was something really memorable and we'll definitely keep an eye out for when they are next in the UK.

Saturday 6th July we travelled down to Basingstoke to play another festival, so unfortunately we missed out on a lot of proggy goodness! Especially gutted to have missed Time, the Valuator - we are playing their music a lot at the moment so we'll just have to wait for another chance to catch them!

Sunday 7th July - it was our turn! Check our media page to see some of the footage from our set! It was followed by MANY beverages and a memorable night watching Leprous close out the main stage. They were so captivating and put on an insane live show. The lights, sound and atmosphere came together beautifully - it felt like you were in another world, not crammed in an aircraft hanger!
